When asked by a third grade student, “What does the Vice President do?”  Sarah Palin responded:

[T]hey’re in charge of the U.S. Senate so if they want to they can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes that will make life better for Brandon and his family and his classroom.

Once again Gov. Palin you are quite wrong.  Or at least over stating things.  As VP you break ties in the Senate.  You don’t get to be a legislator.  You shouldn’t be influencing the work done on the floor any more than you should be telling the Supreme Court how you think the rulings should go for the day.  If you can’t understand the most basic of your Constitutionally restricted tasks, please pack up the bus and head back to Alaska.  You aren’t ready for this and the more you try to pretend the more America loses its ability to function in the world.
